These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Macalytics SEO app (“Macalytics”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), a product provided by Macaroni Software Ltd. Please read them carefully.

By using Macalytics SEO, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Description of the Service

Macalytics SEO connects your Shopify store to Google Search Console and Google Analytics. It provides reporting and insights to help track and improve your organic search performance.

To do this, the app requests access to your Google Search Console and Analytics accounts using OAuth authentication. Specifically, the app uses the following Google scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.edit

The data accessed includes:

• From Google Search Console: performance data such as impressions, clicks, positions, and countries.
• From Google Analytics: read-only access to traffic and revenue reporting data.

No Google data is modified, and no advertising, goal editing, or account administration is performed.

Data Storage and Retention

Macalytics stores some of the Google data it collects (e.g. performance reports) in encrypted BigQuery environments for reporting purposes. This data is retained for up to 12 months.

Users may delete their account or request deletion of stored data at any time. All deletion requests will be processed within a reasonable timeframe.

Data Sharing

Macalytics does not share user data with any third parties. We comply with Google’s Limited Use Policy and do not use your Google data for advertising, profiling, or reselling.

User Responsibilities

You must:

• Only use Macalytics SEO for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer or copy any part of the service
• Not use the app to scrape, overload, or interfere with third-party services

Account Access and Revocation

You can revoke Macalytics SEO’s access to your Google account at any time:

• Within the app interface
• Or through your Google Account settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions

Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will notify you via the app or via email. Continued use of the service after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Macalytics SEO if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, or if we are required to do so by law or our data providers (e.g. Google).

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Macalytics SEO is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of data retrieved from Google APIs or Shopify.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Macaroni Software Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the app.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
